Several members of our climbing community, including some of our staff, discovered their love for rock climbing during a birthday party at one of our gyms.
We know first-hand how valuable these experiences can be for our community, and our staff is dedicated to making each birthday party a memorable event.
Host a Birthday Party
at Planet Rock!
Planet Rock offers birthday party bookings at all locations on select Saturdays throughout the year.
Bookings are first come, first serve – so please plan ahead! To book a party with Planet Rock, please read the following and select your gym below.
Event Cost
Event Deposit: $210
Deposit pays for first 6 participants
Each additional participant: $35
Event Duration: 2 hrs
1 hr 15 min staff-guided rock climbing
45 min in the party room (gift exchange, BYO food + drink)
Parties Include:
2-3 Planet Rock coaches (1:4 ratio)
rental gear included
boulder safety orientation
auto-belay safety orientation
belay support from Planet Rock staff
private space for gifts and BYO food + drinks
2 tables + chairs
Parties DO NOT include:
food or beverage (Planet Rock staff can make local recommendations, however we do not provide or organize catering services)
decorations, table cloths or silverware (please feel free to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled party time to decorate and setup the room)
please bring your own lighters for candles
Event Restrictions
Minimum Age: 4 years old
Maximum Age: 16 years old
Minimum Group Size: 4 participants
Maximum Group Size: 12 participants*
*Non-climbers (parents, grandparents, etc) are not counted towards the maximum participant number.
Booking Information
Reservations are first come, first serve.
Certain Saturdays may not be available due to gym schedule conflicts or gym closures. If your desired date is unavailable, it is not an error or mistake of the app or website.
Reservations must be booked at least 3 weeks in advance.
Participant waivers must be completed prior to the group’s arrival.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations up to two weeks prior to the scheduled event are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations within two weeks of the party date are nonrefundable.
