Silks 101 @ Madison Heights

Silks 101 is a great way to cross-condition for climbing! Classes focus on strength and flexibility conditioning – you’ll definitely feel this workout the next morning. We also introduce the basics of climbing so you can participate in the additional workshops. Workout (and then stretch out) shoulders, hips, hands and core.
Reserve your space online

Tips for your first class: wear clothes that are on the tighter side (loose clothing may get caught in the fabric), and make sure your armpits, backs of your knees and lower back are completely covered. We only use bare feet on the fabric, so make sure your feet are fresh and tidy!

MH Gym to Crag @ Madison Heights

Gym to Crag is for climbers who are lead-certified at Planet Rock and climbing multiple routes at a rating of 5.10 or above. Participants must provide their own personal anchor system and at least three locking carabiners. Please make sure you fit all qualifications before scheduling a lesson. Ask one of our awesome staff members for more information or to discuss individual qualifications prior to registration.

MH Ice Climbing 101 @ Madison Heights

Ice Climbing 101 covers basic skills needed to climb safely and efficiently on vertical top rope ice routes. Learn techniques for smooth and natural ice climbing movements, how to best use tools and crampons, as well as methods for climbing and belaying on ice, Participants must know how to belay prior to taking this class and be able to climb 5.10+ routes.
